Little brother
Because I'm a pushover and don't have enough mouths to feed or fur to clean up, we got a little brother for Libby last spring. Meet Milo. Milo is an Australian shepherd and poodle mix (Aussiedoodle). Coincidentally, we got him from the same breeder as Libby. (Side note: I would've loved to adopt a rescue, but I have bad allergies and needed 100% assurance of the breed/mix, which unfortunately isn't possible with most rescues. I'd hate to adopt a sweetheart and then be unable to keep him for health reasons.) Anyhoozle, we brought Milo home late last February just before the pandemic. I wondered if some sort of maternal instinct would kick in for Libby. Would she cuddle and care for the pup like a mama would?
